We gained a lot of confidence with leash control for our wild pup, and walking on leash became a lot easier. Our pup is very territorial, and now we understand her a lot more, and can predict her behaviour to intervene if necessary. I have an 8 year old German Shephard (rescue) who was on the vicious dog list and had one more chance. Hero was traumatized and was going after dogs and humans. Although at home he was/is an incredible dog bringing him for walks was nearly impossible as he would turn into Cujo just seeing another dog far away. I reached out to Tony and my life has changed completely and Hero is no longer on the vicious dog list! Tony's gentle approach, compassion, and respect for him allowed Hero to learn what he needed to be able to walk with me without turning into Cujo. Additionally, by teaching ME how to handle him on walks and set boundaries has made all the difference in my and Hero's life. I am so grateful to Tony, I started seeing improvements after the second session and I began to have the confidence that we could be out and enjoy the outdoors without constantly feeling stress that Hero was going to flip out. Tony was honest about how far Hero could go (due to his trauma) and did not try to put false hope for more lessons. I found Tony to have not only incredible knowledge on dog training but also integrity. I can not thank Tony enough, he has really changed my life and saved me from heartbreak. Russell was very fear aggressive and we were at a loss of what to do. We had gone through 3 different trainers before Tony but they didn't seem to help. Tony was the only one who created an individualized training plan for Russell based on his personality and needs. Russell has had marked improvements since and only getting better everyday. Our bond with Russell has strengthened through the training too! Tony is very wonderful to work with, clear in his communications and plan for training, and is obviously highly skilled when it comes to dogs. I met Tony almost a year ago, and at the time I was very frustrated with my dog, Luna. She would pull on walks, and I could not handle it anymore, physically and mentally. After months of training her using Tony's methods, she started to slowly improve. Today, Luna barely pulls and when she does, I now have the right tools to correct that behavior. The training made me understand my dog and her needs better and helped me work on my patience. Given the fact that there are no treats involved, it takes time and effort on the owner's part but the results are so worth it. His training methods were very effective and within a short time, Kingston was wonderful at heeling, and a joy to walk. Training was positive and fun and something we could easily do everyday.
